We have transitioned the management of mooring licensing and permits to an online portal ahead of the 2025-26 boating season.  

The online portal enables boat owners to manage personal information, submit and track applications and amendments, and use the personalised dashboard to store all licences and permits in one place.  

The online portal will enable you to: 

  • Manage your personal information and update contact details 

  • Submit and track applications for Rottnest Island mooring licences and permits 

  • Submit new applications for annual admission, authorised use and a position on the mooring site licence waiting list 

  • Renew your current licences and permits 

  • Substitute or add vessels to your account 

  • Record vessel sales 

  • Request replacement stickers 

  • Track compliance requirements and due dates 

  • Store all your licences and permits in one place 

Applications for Domestic Charter Vessel (DCV) permits are not currently available through the Mooring Licensing Portal. If you wish to make any changes to your DCV permit, please contact [email protected].
