Managing authorised user applications and permits
Below are answers to common questions about how to use the Mooring Licensing Portal to apply to become an authorised user on a mooring site licence, and how to manage your authorised user permits once approved.

Frequently Asked Questions
Log in to the Mooring Licensing Portal then follow the steps below:
From your account dashboard, select the ‘Applications’ dropdown arrow
Select ‘New Application’
Select ‘I want to apply for an authorised user permit’
Complete the fields in each of the application tabs
Read the terms and conditions provided at the bottom of the application
If you agree, select ‘I agree to all the RIA terms and conditions’
Select ‘Submit’
When completing a new authorised user application or an amendment to your current permit:
Select the ‘Mooring Bay’ tab
Select ‘By Rottnest Island Authority’
Click and drag the icons to your order of bay preference
When completing a new authorised user application or an amendment to your current permit:
Select the ‘Mooring Bay’ tab
Select ‘By mooring site licensee’
Enter the site licensee’s email
Enter the mooring site ID
Select ‘Add’
To add further licensee-allocated mooring site authorisations in the same application:
Enter the second site licensee’s email
Enter the mooring site ID
Select ‘Add’
Repeat as needed for authorisations from other licensees.
You will only be able to request one mooring site authorisation from RIA, however, you can request as many mooring site licensee allocations as you wish.
No, you can only select one.

Contact details of your mooring licensee are available in your account dashboard. To locate, log in to the Mooring Licensing Portal and follow the steps below:
From your account dashboard, select the ‘Licences and Permits’ dropdown arrow
Click the ‘+’ expander of your permit
View contact information within the PDF document titled ‘Authorised User Permit’
