Rottnest Island’s new Fuel Jetty will open at 7 am on Saturday 5 December.
The new jetty provides improved facilities and accessibility to the island including additional power and water outlets, new finger jetties at lower level between pens and enhanced refuelling for smaller vessels.
The facility also includes a new multi-level landing platform with disability access and improved berthing for smaller vessels. Bookings for the multi-level platform and pens will be available from 9 am on Friday 11 December
here.Built by Fremantle-based company Total AMS, the $3 million project created 40 jobs for electricians, plumbers, fuel specialists, engineers, surveyors and divers.
