Works and service improvements are conducted periodically across Wadjemup / Rottnest Island

A range of projects are also currently underway to refresh and revitalise the island facilities. These works aim to enhance the visitor experience and to preserve the island long term.

Resealing of 33 km of island roads will take place from 13 October to 24 November 2025.

There will be no road closures, but temporary traffic controls will be in place. Emergency vehicles will have full access at all times.

Some services may be interrupted or altered. Please contact operators to confirm availability.
