Works and service improvements are conducted periodically across Rottnest Island

A range of projects are also currently underway to refresh and revitalise Rottnest Island facilities. These works aim to enhance the visitor experience and to preserve the island long term.

Main Jetty Subgrade Sampling | May to June 2024

Commencing: 30 May 2024Completion: 14 June 2024

Improvements to the Main Jetty pavement and surface are required to enhance safety and customer experiences. Surface sampling will be completed with potential noise works to commence after the last ferry, or after-hours.

Main Jetty Berth Upgrades| June to November 2024

Commencing: 10 June 2024 
Completion: 30 November 2024 

To extend jetty life and enhance safety and customer experience, berths 1-3 will be replaced in stages with only one berth closed at any time. Ferry operator berth use will be scheduled to suit construction with no impact on the public.
