Learn about our achievements

In accordance with the legislative requirements set out under the Rottnest Island Authority Act 1987, we publish an Annual Report each financial year. The Annual Reports are a detailed snapshot of what we’ve achieved. They outline our management framework, cover our progress against our strategic direction, and provide an overview of our performance against KPIs for that reporting period, along with comprehensive financial statements.

As RIA is a  part of the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA), the organisation isnot identifiable within a separate Division of the Consolidated Account Expenditure Estimates of the State Budget. As such, the RIAr budget estimates have been prepared and approved in accordance with Section 40 of the Financial Management Act 2006.

As required under Treasurer's Instruction 953, our annual estimates are included as part of the DBCA’s estimates that are published on their website, following approval by the Minister and the tabling of the State Budget in Parliament.
